Biography

James Leader is an English author based in Luxembourg. Born and raised in England, he studied Modern Languages at Wadham College, Oxford University, where he won the Newdigate Prize for Poetry. Since then, he has taught English as a Foreign Language for over 30 years, living in England, Scotland, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Nicaragua, Abu Dhabi, the United States, and Luxembourg. He now teaches high school English at the European School of Luxembourg II - Mamer. He is married and has two children, with whom he loves to travel, hike, and discuss literature.

He has published three novels, The Mysteries of Gogos (2011), Chickendance (2014), and The Venus Zone (2017), and a collection of poetry, High Talk (2022).
